ABOUT THE COMPANY

Founded in 2019 and based in Maryland, our consulting company was established in response to the growing recognition of the critical role wireless emergency alerting plays in protecting the public. As awareness of this life-saving capability increased, so did the need for the industry to enhance alerting functionality to better serve communities during emergencies.


Our work is driven by a commitment to improving how emergency alerts are designed, implemented, and delivered. We support organizations and stakeholders in strengthening alerting systems so that timely, accurate, and actionable information reaches the public when it matters most.


Equally important to our mission is education. The company was founded with a strong desire to help inform the public about wireless emergency alerts—what they are, how they work, and why they are essential. By increasing understanding and awareness, we aim to build trust in these systems and encourage effective use of this critical public safety service.


Through expertise, advocacy, and education, we remain dedicated to advancing wireless emergency alerting and contributing to a safer, more informed society.


About the Founder

Dara Ung, has more than 30 years of software engineering, systems engineering, and management experience in cellular network systems. With technical experience in the following areas

  • Wireless/wireline CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G Core Networks
  • Telephony applications including E911, LBS, Messaging, Wireless Emergency Alerts or WEA)
  • Product marketing, and general management, coupled with strong technical and managerial skills.

In addition, his expertise lies in the ability to recommend solutions to operators on location services, emergency alerts, cell broadcast, voice and data services. Mr. Ung is experienced progressing projects through product development life cycle from proposal to requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment and maintenance. He is the inventor of 11 issued U.S. patents.

Mr. Ung holds a Master degree of Engineering Management from George Wahsington University, DC United States and a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, Montreal Canada.

Mr. Ung is fluent in 4 different languages (English, French, Spanish, and Khmer).
